Along the left-hand side of the page you will
find a list of "Plant Groups" (as well as
some Fungi), identified by their most commonly
used names. Some of the groups represent
phyla (e.g. Red alga, Diatom, Angiosperm);
others are higher-level taxonomic groups
(e.g. Fern/Fern Ally, Gymnosperm).
You can access information about a group of
interest simply by clicking on its name to
the left. This will bring you to a page
containing representative images and text
describing various aspects of the group,
such as habitat preferences, patterns of
reproduction, diversity within the group,
and human uses for members of the group.
