Along the left-hand side of the page you will find a list of "Plant Groups" (as well as some Fungi), identified by their most commonly used names. Some of the groups represent phyla (e.g. Red alga, Diatom, Angiosperm); others are higher-level taxonomic groups (e.g. Fern/Fern Ally, Gymnosperm).

You can access information about a group of interest simply by clicking on its name to the left. This will bring you to a page containing representative images and text describing various aspects of the group, such as habitat preferences, patterns of reproduction, diversity within the group, and human uses for members of the group.
