Jeb

My parents are creative people (who have lately been religiously watching "The Wire.") , and this is reflected in my name. My dad knew of Jeb Stuart, a Confederate cavalry officer, and that his name was actually James Ewell Brown Stuart. He thought this was curious and, evidently, clever. My mom wanted "Caleb" but balked when my dad said I would be called "Cal." They eventually settled on James Early Bryan Bobseine, to be called Jeb. Or so I have been told. I have always thought I would have made a great Cal.
