Hello everyone! It feels good to be back in frosty ol' Maine, even after spending the past semester in sunny Cape Town, South Africa. I'm a third year English major with a minor in film studies. I'm a member of Improvabilities, the improvisational comedy group on campus. I also work at the Smith Union cafe and convenience store. I have an uncanny knack for recalling obscure bits of trivia, particularly factoids about the movies. I grew up in A History of 'The Thorn', A little black thing, After Many a Well-Fought Day, Amidst the Flowers Rich and Gay, Ancient Mariner illustration-image, Beat upward to God's throne, Beauty is truth, truth beauty, By That Smile Which Made Me Blest, Coleridge's Defense of Poetry, I could pray, Imagining The Ancient Mariner through the Cinematic Medium, Insipid in this naughty world of ours, My Heart's Fit to Break, The Nightingale, The world should listen then, This Heart Has Never Stoop'd Its Pride, Though my many faults defaced me, Wordsworth's Burning Ambition-A History of 'The Thorn', aschley, comment-An Exploration of Audience in Tintern Abbey-2, comment-As if it had been a Christian soul-2, comment-Blake as an Artist, Poet, and Creator-3, comment-The curlews screaming hover'd-3, comment-as happy as a boy-1, comment-that doleful cry-2, comment-thin gray cloud-1, common pleasure, factoids about the movies, harmless thing, life and food, measur'd by the clock, my soul is white!, public justice brought, the imagery is somewhat too laboriously accumulated, the public road, the worker of these harms, they ponder'd, to be bereft of promised good
